Pass the Gear is a student-led organization that collects new and gently used sports equipment and redistributes it to athletes in need.
We believe no athlete should miss out on the chance to play due to a lack of gear. By connecting extra equipment with underfunded players and teams, we aim to make sports more accessible, one donation at a time.

About the Founder
Growing up on the baseball field, Svanik Palvai learned the power of sports to build confidence, connection, and joy. As a junior at St. Paul VI Catholic High School, he founded Pass the Gear after realizing the gear that sat unused in his garage could change another athlete’s entire season. His mission is simple: make sure every kid who loves the game has the chance to play it.
